Toyota Prius

Toyota PriusIt’s been a while since we posted something non-related to our work over here. Last time our team had some very positive feelings about new work from our friends over at BrandStudio. New website they have created for Toyota Prius is a great example that automotive websites doesn’t have to be boring.

Great design, video, CGI and attention to detail. Truly one of the best that I’ve seen in a while.
Thumbs up guys!

Mercedes-Benz Viano

Mercedes-Benz Viano
New site for Mercedes-Benz created by Syzygy Hamburg is an amazing online experience with great execution. I think it’s one of the best I’ve seen in a while. Great use of video. It’s a pleasure following the driving car around the globe.

You can also check some more experiments with round objects similar to the ones on the Mercedes-Benz on Maxim Zhestkov’s site.

Rec You

Rec YouRec You is a mini site for Sony Walkman campaign from NON-GRID in Japan. The whole idea is to record yourself while listening to music. The site is not yet finished but you can already see the Grid of people who, as I can understand, uploaded their photos. This is really cool Action Script stuff. You can also upload your photo (Send a Photo) but I have no idea if there is some way to get an url to your “recording”. If you figure it out give us a clue.

Assassin’s Creed

assasin.jpgI wrote previously about more and more video and 3D usage in sites. This one is almost 100% interactive video. Promo site for the newest game from Ubisoft it’s a foretaste what you can experience in the game. Site is well executed without unnecessary content. Using keyboard user can unlock hidden content and information about the game. Nice work.

Site is divided on 5 mini games: End of The World, Dangers of the Forrest, Wrath of Gods, Battle of Good vs Evil and finally The Setting Sun. Each game is very well executed with a lot of motion and video. Another example of high budget production based on interactive video. Creative Agency: Lowe Worldwide.

HBO Voyeur

cool_sites2.jpgPeople put more and more video into their sites. Sometimes is unnecessary, sometimes it is. HBO Voyeur is great example how to use it in a proper way. Site tells several different stories about people who live in the city. Each room is single tale about people’s life. They are connected together. You can watch one of them or navigate through and watch the whole story. Nice soundtrack and overall execution makes this site one of the best video examples I’ve ever seen.
